Imagine if you will, the voice in your head was broken and constantly gave you incorrect intel or simply told you “flee” but not why. We can draw on our memories for solutions to our issues or we can pray, or perhaps call a friend or excercise when we feel down.
I know R really really well, I can see by his expression what he is feeling and usually the source of his angst, however being responsible for fixing it is a draining pursuit fraught with errors. As this disease progresses, the triggers are faster, more frequent and less obvious. That being said, a brisk walk to Starbucks will fix just about anything. That and a solid 8 hours sleep for the author #thankyouseroquel #alzheimerssucks💜
