I remember shortly after our second was born, we left the boys with Rob’s sister and rushed off to a fancy schmancy hotel for a night of adulting! Fine dining and passion were on the menu and we thought we would just take a wee nap before commencing. We woke up the next morning!!! It was the most expensive and worthwhile sleep I ever had. Last night in anticipation of a raucous night of cosmos and caterwauling (on my part) we got dropped off for karaoke at Paddy’s. I was appropriately prepared having invited seasoned singers Jazz and Julia. @jooleeyuuuh It was immediately apparent that my “get up and go” was long gone and while an excellent time was had by all, I am paying the piper today both figuratively (can’t keep my eyes open) and literally. #doyouknowhowmuchuberisthesedays????
