Obstreperous is the word I shall use to describe him today. I feel like I need eyes in the back of my head. I would like to believe that it is all a perfectly designed plan to make me lose my mind and scurry, gibbering, to the nearest institution that will have me. (It may be a bar in Tijuana) On my way to yoga, the ring camera at the front gate, kept triggering my I-watch as R paced up and down from the kitchen camera to the gate. I sent back up, for Nonna Biba, in the form of Rob’s visiting aunt. His sister took over and was waiting in the street with Rob circling the vehicle to prevent her escape, upon my return. Undeterred by my cunning, R casually opened the window in the carwash and then inserted my phone charger into his ear. Later in the afternoon he unraveled the garden hose and brought the green garbage bin to the front door. I took him for a drive to Laguna, after a lovely dose from the emergency box, in the hopes of lulling him to sleep but instead he emptied the glove compartment and fidgeted and fiddled until I brought him home and put him firmly to bed, rail up. Honestly, it was for his safety!!!!! I feel our world shrinking as these behaviors become more challenging to manage in public
